  • Place pizza base in a baking tray or a steel plate. Grease top of pizza base with ghee/olive oil and then spread pizza sauce and then grated cheese over it in all directions.
  • Now, spread pieces of capsicum, sweet corns and sliced olives over it in all directions.
  • Sprinkle 2 pinch oregano, 1 pinch salt and 1 pinch black pepper on it then again spread a layer of grated cheese over it in all directions.
  • Now, place 4-5 slices of tomato on it and then again spread cheese over it then sprinkle 1 pinch salt and 1 pinch black pepper on it in all directions.
  • Our pizza is ready to bake.
  • Turn oven on and preheat it at 180°C for 10 min. on TOAST mode.
  • After that, place pizza with tray/plate in an oven and set oven at 180°C for 10-12 min. on TOAST mode.
  • Our Pizza is ready to serve. Cut it in 4-6 parts with pizza cutter or knife and serve it with tomato sauce or any kind of dip.

Important Points

  1. Baking time may vary in different types of oven. Here I use Bajaj OTG oven.
  2. If you don’t have all these ingredients then you can eliminate some ingredients but pizza base, mozarella cheese, capsicum, tomatoes, ghee/olive oil, pizza/tomato sauce, salt and black pepper is must.
  3. You can also use tomato sauce in place of pizza sauce and olive oil in place of ghee.
  4. Here I use britannia cheezza which consist of mozarella and cheddar cheese.

  1. Good morning dear Pooja. Let me make a clarification. Pizza was invented by Maria Eugenia Brandi to honour the Regina Marguerita when she visited Napoli in 1889. Its three main ingredients mimic our dear Italian flag. Tomato sauce stands for the red, mozzarella cheese stands for the white and oregano stands for the green. You did not even mention “oregano”, which is a very virtuous species. Italian citizens of lineage tracing to Campania( like yours truly) are adamant about defending the essential features of our national treasure. Un baccione. Arrivederci!

    1. Ohk! I understand but I use Oregano in my recipe and do not mention it in must ingredients because in some cities and villages of India and other countries it is not available otherwise I have no intention to change the essential features of your national treasure and Thanks for sharing this information. I really don’t know about it that much. 😃😀

  2. By the way for some time now I have been usually eating pizza with lots of vegetables on top ( including artichoke) and zero meat as it is more gentle for my digestion at night( we love to eat pizza and watch movies with my kids) Do you have oregano in India?
